Luftwaffe aircraft clock for sale. The  Kienzle FL23886, clock, was used in numerous WW2 German fighter aircraft, including the legendary ME109, and was in use by 1939.

The Luftwaffe clock with metal aluminium case, and bezel ring finished in Luftwaffe field-blue paint.  The bezel with white pointer sitting inside the glass, and 0-60 marks in white. Dial in black with 1 - 12 numbers. Subsidiary seconds at the 6.00 position. The hands with luminous inner coating.

The clock hinged, which opens to reveal the steel finished 8 Day movement. The movement with brass wheels throughout. wind and hour set turned from the back. To the inside of the casing, a red octagon with details to the inside 'BAL 1121'. To the bottom a lightly raised case manufacturer name, 'Mahle'.  The case with four screw holes for mounting to cockpit instrument board. To the exterior back of the case an aluminium metal data & serial number plaque, detailing the manufacturer's name, and the serial number (30 671).

Condition report: Case in excellent condition with 98% original field-blue paint remaining. Clean original black dial still retaining all the luminous numbers. The bezel ring not moving.The movement in good clean condition. The nickle-silver movement shield loose. The clock in running condition. No warranty implied.

Provenance: This clock formerly a part of the ULRIC of ENGLAND collection. The clock is actually featured in the publication German Military Timepieces, Volume 2, (page 112).
