December 2017

British military watches and Napoleonic medals continue to lead the way as strong collecting themes. We are currently considering consignments for these collecting categories.

British Medal & Militaria highlights this month include three diverse- and collectible pieces; a World War II DFC/DFM group, a  Longines 'Dirty Dozen' watch, plus a rare Naval General Service Medal with Banda Niera clasp.

The World War II RAF DFC/DFM grouping awarded to Fl/Lt William Dunn, of great interest and being sold direct from the family.

A particularly desirable British Army Longines 'Dirty Dozen' watch, survives with all its original back-plate designations. A time-warp watch never on the market before.

Lastly, a Naval General Service Medal with Banda Niera clasp. The recipient wounded in action during the assualt on Banda Niera. The medal benefits from an excellent provenance dating back to 1949.
